Addressing the participants, Vishwakant Sharma, incharge, HP Milkfed’s Mandi unit, said the cooperative federation was ensuring that the benefits of the increased milk procurement prices announced by the state government reach every dairy farmer. To achieve this, the federation was conducting regular quality checks of milk.

He further added that awareness camps were being organised at different locations to educate farmers about maintaining high milk quality standards. The objective is to ensure that dairy producers receive better prices based on the quality and quantity of milk supplied. These initiatives are expected to help farmers fully benefit from the government’s efforts and significantly enhance their income.
