Mandi, October 16

Two tourists were killed in a road accident on Friday near Manali in Kullu district. Four people were travelling towards Atal tunnel from Kullu side. The vehicle met with an accident at Dhundhi bridge, near Atal Tunnel, when the driver from Rajasthan lost control over the vehicle.

As a result, the vehicle fell down in a deep gorge in the area.

The two victims, Amit and Mohit, both natives of Rajasthan died on the spot, and two other people, Ajit Rawal and Nikhil, sustained severe injuries.

Superintendent of Police Kullu, Gaurav Singh confirmed the report, and said the investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
