Vacation extended in Shimla schools

Winter vacation in Shimla schools has been extended by two days after heavy snowfall, a district official said. The vacation in all primary and senior secondary school has been extended by two days, the Shimla DM said. Schools would now reopen on February 13 instead of February 11. The decision to extend the winter vacations has been taken in the interest of safety of students as several roads are still blocked. — PTI
