The Himachal government has declared seven-day state mourning and two days of public holiday as a mark of respect to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who died in Delhi on Thursday.
National flag would fly at half-mast during the mourning period.
The state government has also declared public holidays for August 17 and 18 as a mark of respect.
