Himachal minister Vikramaditya Singh announces biogas plant for Bhariyal, milk collection unit for Jalog
Himachal Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh today said that work is underway to establish a milk collection centre in Jalog area in Shimla distrct. He said this while addressing people during a ‘Mantri Aapke Dwar’ programme held in Dhanul village under Shimla (Rural) legislative assembly constituency.
Speaking during the programme, the minister said that the centre would benefit around 10 panchayats in the region. He also said that similar milk collection centres would be established in other panchayats of the region in the future.
Development is a continuous process and efforts are made to complete all the ongoing developmental works in the region within the stipulated time. “This area has self-reliant villagers and development work is possible through collective cooperation,” he said.
The economic condition of the state will improve in the future and the present state government is taking effective steps in this direction.
Rs 70 lakh has been spent on metalling the Jathia Devi to Rampuri road. “Additionally, a biogas plant has been approved at the Bhariyal plant. Also, a road to Matholi village will be constructed in the future.
During the programme, local residents raised various public issues and the minister assured them that all of these issues would be addressed on priority. He also announced a grant of Rs 3 lakh for the local Panchayat.
