Chandigarh, December 9
Indian Railways will roll out vistadome coaches on the 114-year-old Shimla-Kalka railway route from December 11, an official said on Sunday.
“Fare would be Rs 130 for adults and Rs 75 for children,” ANI quoted Shimla Railway Station Superintendent Prince Sethi as saying.
The 36-seater coach will have a transparent roof, wooden interiors and plushy cushions for comfort, and would be fully air-conditioned—making the train the first narrow gauge train to have such a coach. Agencies
