The remarks of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh were uncalled for and the District Congress Committee (DCC) would file a complaint to the AICC chief Rahul Gandhi, said Naresh Thakur, president, DCC, on Tuesday.

The former Chief Minister had not only used harsh words against Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, but had also dented the image of the party.

It was during the tenure of Sukhu that every worker of the party was respected and motivated. The DCC president said the workers were committed to working for the victory of the party in the elections, but the former Chief Minister had demoralised them. Virbhadra had blamed Sukhu for the debacle in the 2017 Assembly elections.
