Yellow alert for 11 Himachal districts as heavy rain set to continue

Heavy rain is set to continue across Himachal Pradesh as the State Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow alert for 11 districts for Monday.

The districts include Shimla, Kullu, Kangra, Solan, Mandi, Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Sirmaur, Chamba, and Lahaul and Spiti. These districts are likely to experience heavy to moderate rainfall throughout the day.

Meanwhile, minimum temperatures are expected to remain within the normal range.

Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 18°C, followed by Dharamshala (20.1°C), Manali (14.1°C), Mandi (21.5°C), Solan (18.6°C), Kalpa (10°C), Reckong Peo (13°C), Bilaspur (22.5°C), Hamirpur (21.5°C), Una (20°C), Kangra (21.8°C), Bhuntar (18°C), Chamba (17.9°C) and Nahan (19.5°C).

Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti remained the coldest place in the state, recording a minimum temperature of 8.4°C.
