Shimla, August 13
The District and Sessions Judge on Monday fixed August 21 for pronouncing quantum of sentence to all three convicts after in- camera hearing in the Yug murder case.
All three accused in sensational Yug Gupta murder case — Chander Sharma, Tajender and Vikrant —were held guilty by District and Sessions Court under Sections 302 (murder), 201 (disappearance of evidence/false information), 342 (wrongful confinement), 364A (kidnapping for ransom) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC on August 13 last.
The hearing for pronouncing the sentence was fixed for Monday and statements of all three convicted persons were recorded in the presence of Yug’s father, said District Attorney Randip Singh Parmar. — TNS
