Himachal Govt shifts 4 IPS, 14 HPPS officers; cancels 10 transfers

In another administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh Government today transferred four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. The government also transferred 14 Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPPS) officers and cancelled the transfer orders of 10 HPPS officers.

Arvind Divijay Negi, a 2011-batch IPS officer, who was on his promotion as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), has now been posted as DIG, Narcotics Control Bureau, CID, Shimla; 2012-batch IPS officer Rohit Malpani, currently serving as Commandant, 1st Himachal Pradesh Armed Police (HPAP), Junga, Shimla, as Superintendent of Police (SP) Cybercrime, Shimla.

A 2008-batch HPPS officer, Sagar Chander, presently posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Mandi district has been transferred to the post of ASP, 3rd IRBn, Pandoh; Rajesh Kumar as Commandant, Homeguard, 9th Battalion, Dharamsala; Bhopinder Singh Bragta as Commandant, Home Guards, State Headquarters, Shimla; Pramod Chauhan as ASP (Leave Reserve), Police Headquarters, Shimla; Rattan Singh as ASP, Traffic Tourism and Railways, Shimla; Ajay Kumar as DSP, 3rd IRBn, Pandoh; Chander Shekhar, DSP (Traffic) Shimla; Rajeev Mehta as Subdivisional Police Officer (SDPO) Anni; Anil Kumar as Staff Officer, Office of Inspector General of Police, Northern Range, Dharamsala; Anil Thakur, DSP, 6th IRbn, Dhaulakuan, Naveen Jhalta as SDPO, Darlaghat, Solan; Harnam Singh as DSP, SV&ACB Kinnaur; and Sanjeev Kumar Gautam as DSP (HQ), Hamirpur.

The state government has cancelled the transfer orders of Narinder Kumar, ASP, 5th IRBn, Bangarh, Una; Yogesh Rolta, ASP, Sirmaur; Kamal Kishore, Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB), Shimla; Ramakant Thakur, DSP (HQ), Sirmaur; Siddharth Sharma Deputy Superintendent of Police, Theog; Sher Singh, DSP, 5th IRBn, Bassi, Bilaspur; Manvendra Thakur, SDPO, Paonta Sahib; Naresh Kumar, SDPO, Rampur, Shimla; Vijay Kumar, DSP(HQ), Shimla; and Yog Raj, SDPO, Chowari, Chamba.
