Director & Producer from Gurgaon Takes the Commercial Filmmaking Industry by Storm with International Honors.
Aryan Gupta, a talented filmmaker hailing from Gurgaon, has recently garnered significant attention in the international filmmaking community, establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the commercial and narrative film industry. A graduate of the prestigious film program at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California, Aryan’s journey to the global stage is nothing short of inspiring. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to create innovative commercials and narrative projects under his production company Twisted Hammock Productions.
With a deep passion for storytelling and a unique vision, Aryan has consistently pushed the boundaries of commercial filmmaking. His innovative approach and dedication to his craft have earned him not only critical acclaim but also numerous accolades on the international stage. Just this year, Aryan has won 21 major awards for his creative work, a testament to his talent and hard work.
These recent wins include 11 wins at the Berlin Commercial Festival for commercials he produced and directed. This comes right after winning 4 awards at the American Advertising Federation Awards earlier this year.
In a recent interview, Aryan shared his thoughts on his journey: “It’s been an incredible experience to be recognized internationally for doing what I love. My goal has always been to tell stories that connect with people on a deeper level, and these awards are an affirmation that I’m on the right path.”
When asked what's next, he stated "I want to expand my productions to India. I grew up there and I know the incredible talent that the country holds. I'm currently working on producing and directing an anthology that will be shot in India. It will be the first Indian project in recent years to shoot entirely on 16mm film. I'm beyond excited."
