BJP’s Gaurav Bhatia hits out at Rahul Gandhi, accuses him of adopting ‘toolkit politics’
Rahul reportedly said the Modi government would not last beyond a year, citing rising economic dissatisfaction and public anger
BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia on Monday hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his “government will fall” remark, saying he was hell-bent on spreading anarchy in the country.
He also accused the Gandhi scion of adopting “toolkit politics” in maligning the image of the country.

“This kind of ‘toolkit by a fool kid’ will not work in the country under the Modi regime. Rahul’s remarks only reflect the frustration of the Congress. He is speaking against the very democracy which made him the Leader of Opposition,” Bhatia said during a press conference at the BJP headquarters here.
“Yesterday, another ‘tool kit’ also came into discussion, in which it is being said this government, which is serving the people of the country with full strength, will fall within a year. I would like to say first that ‘Bhasmasur Rahul Gandhi’, we did not know that Bhasmasur would also become an astrologer,” he said.
At a Congress Minority Advisory Committee meeting, Rahul Gandhi reportedly said the Modi government would not last beyond a year, citing rising economic dissatisfaction and public anger. He linked changing global economic conditions to possible political shifts in India.
Addressing recent political statements attributed to the Opposition during a press conference, Bhatia described claims about the government collapsing as repetitive misinformation, while accusing the Congress of practicing appeasement politics.
“If Rahul Gandhi’s intention is to spread anarchy, then our resolve is also to make India stronger. You may try your best, but we are equally determined to take India forward,” he said.
The BJP leader added that at a time of global crisis when many countries around the world are facing economic instability, India has shown strong resilience.
Taking a dig at the opposition leader, Bhatia said one does not understand the constitutional values by carrying a copy of the Indian Constitution in the pocket.
Meanwhile, fuel prices increased across India on Monday, marking the fourth rise in less than two weeks amid global crude oil market volatility and geopolitical tensions in West Asia.
Petrol prices in Delhi rose by Rs 2.61 to Rs 102.12 per litre, crossing the Rs 100-mark, while diesel prices increased by Rs 2.71 to Rs 95.20 per litre.
