Following his engagements in New Delhi, Stubb will travel to Mumbai, where he is scheduled to meet the Governor and Chief Minister of Maharashtra, interact with Indian industry leaders and participate in an India–Finland business event. He will also address students at the University of Mumbai.

India and Finland share warm and multifaceted relations anchored in democratic values and expanding cooperation in areas such as technology, innovation, education and sustainable development. Finland remains an important partner for India within the European Union and the Nordic region.

The visit follows the recent India trip by Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo for the AI Impact Summit in February, reflecting growing momentum in bilateral engagement and efforts by both sides to deepen economic cooperation and people-to-people ties.
