At the India AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam today, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about how only an open and shared AI could ensure a better and secure world, his intent to promote inclusivity was on display in real time.
During his inaugural address, in which he called for democratising artificial intelligence and making it a tool for inclusion and empowerment, the PM’s Hindi speech was simultaneously dubbed in various languages, besides it being projected in sign language for wider reach.
Besides English, it was projected in major regional languages such as Punjabi, Assamese, Bangla, English, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia and Tamil.
