“The Congress has no positive vision for the country. Its entire politics is rooted in negativity, Chowkidar Chor Hai, abusing the Election Commission, attacking the EVMs and institutions and advancing the interest and agenda of anti-national forces rather than the country. This is why a large section within the Congress is growing increasingly uneasy with this brand of negative politics. I can sense deep, anger and anxiety within sections of the Congress. It may possibly see a split soon,” Modi said.

Noting that the BJP and NDA partners were being re-elected, despite being in power for 20 years and more in a sign of the commencement of a new brand of politics in India.

“This is the start of pro-people, pro-development, pro-governance politics in the country,” Modi said referring to the phenomenal victory of the BJP-led national democratic alliance in Bihar today.

The Prime Minister also said that the Bihar mandate today was a victory of development over Dynasty and an answer of the voters of the state to anti-democratic forces.

“Bihar has given India the tag of the mother of democracy. Today, Bihar has decimated anti-democratic forces,” said the Prime Minister, adding that the youth of Bihar had voted for the purification of electoral rolls.

Crediting the victory of the NDA to the women and youth of the state, the Prime Minister also coined a new term ‘Mahila and Yuva’ and said that the new positive MY formula had trumped the old and communal MY (Muslim Yadav) formula of the RJD and the Congress.

Noting that the Bihar results had shown how seriously the youth of the state took the purification of the voter list, the Prime Minister said it is now the responsibility of every political party to enable the purification of electoral rolls.

The Prime Minister also congratulated the Election Commission for conducting a peaceful election with no poll violence or repoll being reported.

He said the first rule of the RJD was marked by several repolls.
