Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, conveying New Year greetings and reiterating India’s commitment to further deepen the India–Israel Strategic Partnership.

In a post on X, Modi said the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the year ahead and exchanged views on the evolving regional situation.

“We discussed ways to further strengthen the India-Israel Strategic Partnership in the year ahead. We also exchanged views on the regional situation and reaffirmed our shared resolve to fight terrorism with greater determination,” the Prime Minister said.

India and Israel share close ties across defence, security, technology, agriculture and innovation, with counter-terrorism cooperation remaining a key pillar of the relationship.
