“Anuja”, a New Delhi-set short film, on Thursday bagged a nomination in the Live Action Short category at the 97th Academy Awards. The film follows a gifted nine-year-old Anuja, who must make a choice between education and factory work alongside her sister — a decision that will shape their futures. Directed by Adam J Graves and Suchitra Mattai, the film has two-time Oscar winning producer Guneet Monga as well as Priyanka Chopra Jonas as executive producers.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
