PM Modi’s Parliament address reflects India’s energy, confidence: Jaishankar
The External Affairs Minister said the PM outlined how the country was charting its own course amid a rapidly shifting global order while building forward-looking partnerships to protect national interests
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reply to the Motion of Thanks in the Rajya Sabha reflected energy, confidence and aspirations of today’s India.
Commenting on the Prime Minister’s address, Jaishankar said Modi outlined how the country was charting its own course amid a rapidly shifting global order while building forward-looking partnerships to protect national interests.
He noted that the Prime Minister emphasised policies aimed at securing opportunities for workers, youth, entrepreneurs and women.
The External Affairs Minister also said the Prime Minister highlighted the impact of reform-driven governance, which was ushering in a new phase of growth and prosperity.
According to Jaishankar, these reforms were central to improving the lives of India’s 140 crore citizens and reinforcing the country’s global standing.
