US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to visit India from May 24 to 26 for high-level talks aimed at reinforcing the strategic partnership between India and the United States.

Sources said Rubio is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and is also expected to call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his three-day visit to New Delhi.

A key highlight of the visit will be Rubio’s participation in the upcoming Quadrilateral Security Dialogue Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, which is expected to deliberate on Indo-Pacific security, maritime cooperation, resilient supply chains and emerging technologies.

The visit comes at a crucial time in India-US ties, with both countries seeking to maintain momentum in a relationship that has expanded significantly in recent years.
