The Union Territory of Puducherry has an electorate of 944,211, per the final electoral rolls released by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Saturday. Lakshadweep’s final tally stands at 57,607 electors.

The release completes the special intensive revision (SIR) of voters’ lists in both territories. Puducherry’s draft rolls, published on December 16, 2025, listed 918,111 electors, down from 1,021,578 on October 27, 2025 after 103,467 ineligible names were removed. Claims and objections from December 16, 2025 to January 19, 2026 added 42,719 eligible voters and deleted 16,619 ineligible ones, yielding the final figure of 944,211, a CEO statement said. Similarly in Lakshadweep, out of the 57,607 voters as per the final roll, 47 ineligible voters were deleted while 1,270 voters were included. There were 56,384 voters as per the draft rolls of the union territory which were published on December 16.
