World situation appears ‘uncertain and volatile’: Jaishankar
In his address to the Indian diaspora, Jaishankar asserts they can contribute to the journey towards a ‘Viksit Bharat’
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, on Thursday, said the world’s situation appears “more uncertain” and “even more volatile” at present.
During his address to Indian diaspora at the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar, held by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), he said, “We are all assembled at a time when the world may look more uncertain and perhaps even more volatile”.
In his address to the diaspora, he said, “However, the message that you will take away from this occasion is of a Bharat that is more confident, modernizing and inclusive. Where tradition and technology go hand in hand”.
He said that the journey towards ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India) is ongoing, adding, that the Indian diaspora can also contribute to the realization of this goal.
