Recoveries remained ahead of new Covid cases in J&K on Wednesday as the UT saw 163 recoveries, 151 new cases and one death in 24 hours.

Officials said 20 recoveries and 21 cases were reported from the Jammu division and 143 recoveries and 130 cases from the Kashmir division. The caseload stands at 3,26,310 and 3,20,648 of them have recovered while 4,411 have succumbed. The active cases are 1,251.

Ladakh recorded five fresh Covid cases, taking the infection tally to 20,593. The active caseload in the region stands at 48 as 11 more Covid patients were cured of the infection. — IANS/PTI
