Apni Party candidate raises concern over drug menace
Apni Party candidate from Jammu South constituency, Pavneet Kour, has raised the issue of growing drug menace in the region.
During a public meeting in ward number 4, Pavneet Kour, gave a call to the women of the constituency to stand up and secure the future of their children. Kour emphasised the growing drug menace as the primary threat to the youth and vowed to eliminate drugs as one of her top priorities, if she was elected as an MLA.
She also stressed that the future of Jammu South’s youth depended on a collective effort to remove the scourge of drugs from streets.
Kour shared her comprehensive plan to tackle the drug crisis, which includes collaborating with law enforcement agencies to arrest drug suppliers, establishing rehabilitation centres for addicts, and offering youth alternative opportunities through sports, education, and community programmes.
She also promised to push for stronger laws and policies to curb drug trafficking and ensure that the streets of Jammu South are safe for its young generation. “Our youth deserve a chance to grow in a safe, drug-free environment,” Kour said.
In her speech, Kour made an appeal to the women of Jammu South, urging them to take the lead in this battle. She highlighted the critical role women play as pillars of families and society, reminding them that their vote can be the catalyst for lasting change.
“I urge every woman in Jammu South to cast their vote for the future of your families and community,” she stated.
