Apni Party for early elections in J&K



Srinagar, September 28

The Apni Party on Monday expressed hope for an early resumption of electoral process that can fulfil aspirations of the people and help usher in the new era of peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.

These remarks were made by Apni Party general secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, who along with the Anantnag district president Abdul Rahim Rather co-chaired a meeting of party office-bearers and prominent party workers of the district at Dak Bungalow, Khanabal.

A party statement said both the leaders called on the Central government to take an urgent call on the conduct of elections for J&K. — TNS
