An employee of the Block Development Council (BDC) was killed by militants in Nildoora village of Shopian on Monday.
Sabzar Ahmad Naikoo was shot by militants at his native village, the police said.
He was referred to SKIMS hospital in Srinagar in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. TNS/PTI
