Kathua police organise ‘anti-fidayeen’ mock drill

Kathua police on Saturday conducted an anti-fidayeen (anti-suicide attack) mock drill at Rajbagh and Hiranagar police stations, along with seven Border Police Posts along the International Border.

The exercise was aimed at testing operational preparedness, enhancing agility and improving the response of police personnel to any fidayeen attack on police establishments.

Police personnel were briefed on tactical measures, including the use of dominating heights, heavy firepower and the red alert alarm system deployed at each establishment.

Officials were directed to remain always alert so that they can engage the enemy quickly.
