Various political activists from the Khan Sahib constituency of Budgam district, besides many trade unionists, on Saturday joined the Apni Party at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, a party statement said.

The new entrants were welcomed by the party president Altaf Bukhari, senior vice-president Ghulam Hassan Mir and senior leaders of the party.

“The first and the foremost message of the party to our new colleagues is to reach out to people and facilitate the redress of their day-to-day grievances. We are committed to public service and will not shy away from our responsibilities of safeguarding the socio-economic and political interests of the people of Jammu & Kashmir,” Bukhari said on this occasion.
