Landslide-hit 132 families to be rehabilitated

To provide relief to landslide victims of Saddal village in Udhampur District, the Administrative Council (AC) which met under the chairmanship of Lt-Governor GC Murmu today accorded the sanction of grant for 5-marla on lease basis each to the 132 families affected due to a natural calamity in 2014.

As per the decision, 71 families will be provided land in Mansar village and 61-affected families will be given land in Debriah village of Udhampur district, for their rehabilitation.

The Administrative Council also accorded sanction for the transfer of shamilat (kahcharai) land measuring 60 kanals situated in Chandhara village of Pulwama district to the School Education Department for establishing Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pulwama.
