Jammu: A pregnant woman died post delivery at the Government Medical College Hospital in Rajouri district which led to people blocking the Jammu-Rajouri highway, alleging negligence by doctors. The protesters dispersed after senior police and administration officials visited the scene and assured them of a magisterial probe and legal action. pti

Hybrid Lashkar militant arrested in Srinagar

Srinagar: Security forces on Sunday arrested a hybrid militant of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Srinagar. He has been identified as Arshid Ahmad Bhat of Budgam. He was arrested by a team of the police and the Army at Lawaypura, the Srinagar police tweeted. Five pistols, magazines, 50 rounds and two grenades were seized.
