Three militants arrested in Kupwara, one may be minor

Srinagar: Security forces have arrested three “uncategorised” terrorists in Kupwara district and seized incriminating material including arms and ammunition. They were tasked with carrying out attacks in Handwara, the police said. The age of one of them is being verified as he may be minor, officials added. pti

Police get containerised shooting range in Srinagar

Srinagar: DGP Dilbag Singh on Thursday inaugurated a containerised shooting range. He also flagged off bullet resistant, marksman tactical intervention light motor vehicles for the police force engaged in counter-insurgency operations. The vehicles also have run-flat tyre system.
