With one more case of dengue reported in Jalandhar, the total cases of dengue in the city has risen to 12.

Over 45 cases of diarrhoea have already been reported in Jalandhar so far. Meanwhile, on Saturday, a chikungunya case was also reported but the patient was from another district.

Apart from four cases reported in May, June and July, a new dengue case was reported on August 3. This is the only case reported in August.

Meanwhile, 272 dengue larvae have also been found at various places in Jalandhar which include 202 in urban areas and 70 in rural areas.
