After a gap of three days, as many as 15,000 people in the district received their vaccinations at nearly 100 session sites on Saturday. A huge rush was witnessed at the Civil Hospital while many other sites remained crowded with people keen to take the jab.
DIO Dr Rakesh Chopra said, “We received a supply of 15,000 vaccines last night. We had no vaccines in our stock. All of these have been administered. While there will be no vaccination tomorrow being a holiday, we now await supply for the vaccine drive to be carried out on Monday." —TNS
