18 FIRs lodged against travel agents in Jalandhar

Acting on the complaints received against various travel agents in the city, who have been reportedly duping residents of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of sending them abroad, the city police, led by DCP Vatsala Gupta, have registered 18 FIRs against travel agents across different police stations in the Jalandhar Commissionerate. Investigation in the cases is underway.
