18 of 21 seats for Cong in Kapurthala, two for SAD

As many as 18 seats were won by the Congress in the Kapurthala Panchayat Samiti polls of the total 21. While two seats were won by the SAD and one was won by an Independent.

In zila parishad elections, 10 zones have 23 candidates. Five panchayat samitis’ have 86 zones and these have 204 candidates.
