2 fake travel agents booked

PHAGWARA: On a complaint lodged by Harbans Singh, a resident of Narur village, the Rawalpindi police have registered a case under Sections 420 and 406 of the IPC against two fake travel agents Dilbag Singh, a resident of Surapur village, near Banga, and Ajaib Singh, a resident of Panjorra village, near Mehatiana, on the charges of duping the complainant of Rs 12 lakh on the pretext of sending his son to Canada.

On a complaint lodged by Harbans Singh, a resident of Narur village, the Rawalpindi police have registered a case under Sections 420 and 406 of the IPC against two fake travel agents Dilbag Singh, a resident of Surapur village, near Banga, and Ajaib Singh, a resident of Panjorra village, near Mehatiana, on the charges of duping the complainant of Rs 12 lakh on the pretext of sending his son to Canada.

The victim said the accused neither send his son abroad nor returned the money. The police are investigating the matter. OC
