20-year-old’s body found in pool of blood

HOSHIARPUR: The Bullowal police have recovered the body of a 20-year-old youngster in Nandachaur.

The Bullowal police have recovered the body of a 20-year-old youngster in Nandachaur.

ASI Kulwant Singh, who is investigating the case, said deceased’s brother Man Singh had lodged a complaint with the police. He said Man Singh told the police that his brother Dinesh Kumar had been running a fast food shop in Nandachaur village for the past three years, while his family lived in Fattowal village.

According to the deceased’s brother, when Dinesh did not come home after closing the shop last night, his family members started searching for him. Residents in the morning noticed a body lying in a pool of blood on the link road leading from Nandachor to Sarhala. Thereafter, they informed the police.

During investigation, it was found that the body was of Dinesh, who had gone missing. The ASI said there were Injury marks on Dinesh’s head and eye. His cellphone was also missing. A case under Section 302, IPC, has been registered against unidentified persons on the complaint of the victim’s family. — OC
