3 killed in road accidents

Three persons, including a two-and-half-year-old child, died in three road accidents in the area. Saab Singh of Purhiran said that he was going home on his bike with his brother Dildeep Singh around 9 pm yesterday when another bike rider hit them near Bhim Nagar due to which they got injured. At the hospital, the doctors present there declared his brother dead.
In another case, Maninder Singh of Shergarh said his father Santokh Singh was coming on his Activa when a car hit him near Purhiran bypass. He said his father died during treatment.

In the third case, Saurabh of Dugri Awana village said he and his son Gaurav were returning home on their bike when a car hit them, killing his son on the spot. The driver, Sarvjit Kaur, of Gurdaspur has been arrested.
