In a three-day traffic enforcement drive, the Commissionerate Police took action against traffic violators, issuing 88 challans and impounding 14 vehicles. The police checked over 480 vehicles across the city.

Check-points were set up at high-traffic areas and marketplaces, ensuring strict enforcement of traffic laws. As many as 15 challans were issued for triple riding on motorcycles, 14 for helmet non-compliance and 13 for vehicles without number plates.

Additionally, 17 vehicles with black window films and eight modified motorcycles violating safety norms were penalised. Seven drivers were also fined for not carrying valid licence.
