Hoshiarpur, September 14
Prince Giri, a 19-year-old son of a priest of a temple, committed suicide by jumping in front of a train.
In the evening, his family was looking for Prince as he was not in the house. While the search was on, a piece of paper was found in his book lying in the house which his younger sister saw and gave to the family members.
A suicide note was written on the paper, in which Prince wrote, “I am fed up with this dirty world. No one should be held responsible for my death”. The family rushed to the Purhiran police post to report about it. Meanwhile, the incharge of the GRP Police informed the local police about a dead body of a youth found on the railway track near Railway Mandi Ground area.
