Having shot for five days in Ludhiana where the crew of ‘Bharat’ recreated the scene of the Wagah Border, actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have been at Bilga village, near Nurmahal, since last evening.
A railway station at Bilga has been converted to Attari railway station with signages changed overnight much to the excitement of residents. Crowds have been gathering by the roadside leading to the spot waiting for the crew to pass by to have Salman’s one glance. The site had been barricaded by his team and visitors, other than passengers having tickets, had been disallowed today from visiting the sets.
Knowing about the shoot, some boys from Ludhiana specially boarded a train to the Bilga station today to have a look at their favourite Bollywood stars. The film is said to be based on 70 years of India since its Partition. Actor Ali Abbas Zafar and Sunil Grover too are in the town for the shooting.
The film crew, including lead actors Salman and Katrina, also visited Dera Murad Shah, about 20 km from the shooting site. Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, who is the producer of the film, put a video of their visit to the dera on his Instagram account this afternoon.
The shoot at the station is likely to take place again tomorrow.
