BSNL to launch 4G service in Hoshiarpur from February 15

HOSHIARPUR: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is going to launch its 4G mobile service in the Talwara, Garhdiwala and Garhshankar, from February 15.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is going to launch its 4G mobile service in the Talwara, Garhdiwala and Garhshankar, from February 15.

Ajeet Kumar, general manager, telecom district (GMTD,) BSNL, Hoshiarpur, told this here today. With 4G service, BSNL customers would be able to get high speed data facility.

The BSNL customers of these areas will get their SIMs replaced with 4G SIMs from BSNL Customer Service Centres, BSNL Franchisees, Rural Distributors and BSNL Retailers in Talwara, Garhdiwala and Garhshankar areas.

GMTD said: “Replacement of SIMs with 4G SIMs is mandatory to get high speed data service.” Other BSNL customer, who frequently visit these areas, will also get their SIMs replaced with 4G SIMs.”

The general manager said unlike private operators, the BSNL do not charge minimum monthly amount from its customers, except validity extension of Rs 49 after 6 months.
