As the Class X board examination for CBSE and ICSE school students are set to start from Tuesday, the last-minute preparations were made by the school managements to ensure that everything goes on smoothly.
While the CBSE Class X students have to take their mathematics examination tomorrow at 10:30 am, it is English language paper for the ICSE students at 11 am. The school managements made every bit of effort to ensure that their wards remained upbeat and confident of good result till the last moment.
The schools were engaged in making seating plans at the centres for the examinees from other schools. Likewise, they were also making arrangements for the safe travel of their own students to other examination centres by way of buses and informing the same to the parents and the students.
Rajeev Paliwal, Principal of Innocent Hearts School, said, “Our students have their examination centre at MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar. We have directed them to assemble in the school first and we shall drop them all at their centre in our buses. Our campus is the centre for three schools.”
Likewise, Dimple Sharma, Principal of Guru Harkrishan Public School, Kapurthala, said, “Our students shall go to Kendriya Vidyalaya in the RCF, at less than 10 minutes distance from the school. But we have told all students to reach the campus before 9 am so that we can take attendance, do some pep talk and take them to the centre in buses. We do not encourage the students to directly reach the centre owing to safety concerns.” The CBSE Class XII examination are scheduled to start from tomorrow.
