Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann urged to resolve issues ailing industry
Jalandhar, July 5
Members of the Federation of Jalandhar Industrial and Industrial Association met CM Bhagwant Mann on Thursday during the industrial meet and handed over a memorandum to him.
The businessmen claimed that ignoring existing industries and promoting new one by giving them subsidies and incentives is injustice to old industries. All the new schemes, subsidies and policies should be applicable to all industries whether old or new, small or large. There is no focal point for industry from last 20-25 years. We request that new Focal Points should be made so that the industries can expand smoothly in the new master plan of Jalandhar, the memorandum read.
