Colours, handicrafts, garments at exhibition for women on Baisakhi
An exhibition, “Fab Asia”, has been organised specially for women on Baisakhi at Hotel Shangri-la, in Jalandhar. The Baisakhi bonanza is attracting a huge response from women around the city.
The exhibition is a celebration of colours, handicrafts, garments and the vibrancy that one associates with the festival.
Entrepreneurs have come from every part of India —- Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and other states —- to sell their products to the people of Jalandhar.
The exhibition features a number of Pakistani designer suits, wedding wear, home decor, jewellery, silk and cotton dress material, handbags etc on display. The organisers said colours and countless variety in ready-made suits, kurtis and bedsheets were available.
The exhibition has around 50 stalls offering various lifestyle products. “It’s a Baisakhi treat for the fashion- savvy women of Jalandhar. There are countless states and their unique skill to choose from. We expect it to be a treat for those looking for an impressive spring splurge for households, lifestyle, decor and couture.” The exhibition will be on till April 14 at Hotel Shangri-la, Model Town Road, Jalandhar.
