Jalandhar: On the directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, a Covid-19 testing camp was held at the District Judicial Complex on Wednesday. The camp was organised under the supervision of Rupinderjit Chahal, District and Sessions Judge and Chairperson of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jalandhar. The District and Sessions Judge said six teams of the Health Department collected more than 600 samples. She said the Covid-19 tests of all judges, staff, advocates, clerks and public visiting the courts were carried out. She said Justice Daya Chaudhary of the Punjab and Haryana High Court was very concerned about the well-being of judicial officers and staff. Jaapinder Singh, CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority, said testing counters would be operational in the coming days. Necessary arrangements for conducting the camp were made by Civil Judge (Senior Division) Kapil Aggarwal, CJMs Amita Singh and Sushma Devi. TNS
