DAVIET 15th in nationwide survey

JALANDHAR: DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology (DAVIET), Jalandhar, has made it to the elite league of the best engineering colleges in the country.

DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology (DAVIET), Jalandhar, has made it to the elite league of the best engineering colleges in the country. The college has been ranked 15th in the nationwide survey of the ‘Best Private Engineering Colleges’ of North India by ‘India Today-MDRA Survey’.

As many as 1,207 colleges were shortlisted before awarding the ranks.

The achievement confirms the fact that DAVIET has established itself as a high seat of learning in the field of technical and professional education in the country.

The Institute was awarded the rank after multiple rounds of enquiry and validation that involved—getting the preliminary information through detailed questionnaires, followed by validation visits, parametre assignment and weightage finalization to enquire a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the ranking of top engineering colleges.

The team of India Today MDRA contacted around 10,000 colleges who fulfil the eligibility criteria. — TNS
