Denial of higher military pay flayed

Our Correspondent

Hoshiarpur, December 6

‘SAVERA’, an NGO, has expressed anguish over the Central Government’s decision to deny higher Military Service Pay to nearly one lakh personnel of the Army.

Dr Ajay Bagga, convener, ‘SAVERA’, said the decision was against the interests of about 90,000 Junior Commissioned Officers and 25,000 personnel of the Navy and the Indian Air Force.

The NGO demanded that the decision be reviewed.
