The ultra modern digital museum exhibiting the life of Guru Nanak Dev will be opened for the public at Roshan Ground here from November 21 to 23.

Deputy Commissioner Isha Kaila while assigning duties for the smooth conduct of the three-day programme said the digital museum and the light and sound show would be the part of the year-long ongoing celebrations scheduled by the state government to commemorate the 550th Parkash Purb of the Guru.

The digital mobile museum will remain open for the public from 7am to 5.30 pm from November 21 to 23, while two light and sound shows from 6.15 pm to 7 pm and 7.45 pm to 8.30 pm would be held on November 22 and 23.

The DC urged people from various walks of life to visit the museum to have a rare experience. Terming the museum as a humble effort by the state government to spread the message among people for embracing the ideology of love, compassion, equality, peace and brotherhood propounded by the Guru, she said entry to the shows would be free.
