Avneet Kaur, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development), announced that entrepreneurial women will be honoured at the state-level International Women’s Day celebrations on March 8.

The initiative, organised by the Punjab State Rural Livelihood Mission, aims to recognise women entrepreneurs across the state. In each district block/constituency, 100 women will be honoured, and 20 outstanding entrepreneurs will be selected for state-level recognition.

Details on eligibility, guidelines, and application forms are available at Block Development and Panchayat Offices for rural areas and SDM offices for urban areas. Applicants are encouraged to apply through these offices.
