The case came to light following a complaint by Hardip Kumar, an employee of Tata Salt Company, who alleged that the suspect was producing counterfeit salt and circulating it in the market, thereby misleading consumers and damaging the original brand’s integrity. During the police action, 41 bags of fake Tata salt, each weighing 50 kilograms, were seized from the premises. Further investigations in the case is on.
